Del’Mia is a Christian artist who is known to specialize in Poetry. As an artist, Del’Mia is a song writer, singer, author, producer, poet, actress, event planner, host, speaker, and overall entertainer. But as a Christian, Del’Mia uses her God-given gifts to edify the Kingdom of God and to spread the Gospel through Performance Arts. Del’Mia began writing at the age of 12 to channel her inner thoughts and pain. As a child, Del’Mia suffered from the speech impediment of stuttering and often was scared to share her thoughts through shifted broken words, but God used this speech hindrance to launch Del’Mia into her gift of writing. Today, Del’Mia triumphs without fear knowing she has divine gifts that God continues to use to bless the world.
"Daddy's Little Girl" gives the unhidden testimony of my struggle to find love after the departure of my father; only to realize that that love that I so desired was already inside of me. This revelation not only caused me to transform into the woman of God that I was designed to be, but it also enabled me to walk in the freedom of loving my own self instead of waiting for others to validate my own self-worth.
